Cartier

An evening dedicated to the Clash de Cartier collection, built around its philosophy “You can be both”: the freedom to be many things at once and to hold opposites within oneself.

The idea is expressed through contrast. The classical interior of the Abai Opera and Ballet Theatre collides with exposed technical equipment — trusses, cables and fixtures — as a historic space meets almost grunge-like structures.

At the heart of the concept is a performance by actress Ainur Niyazova on a round stage beneath a mirror. Moving in a circle, the heroine shifts her state twice, and music, light and sound change with her: the collection’s philosophy unfolds through space, sound and acting.
