Faenomen is a creative studio founded by Nargiz Magaeva in 2015.

We work with spaces and events, finding for every idea its own way of meeting people.

We look for connections, ask questions and notice the details that can become the foundation of an artistic idea. From these observations a concept is born, and it guides every decision that follows — from the choice of artists to materials, light and movement through space.

What draws a person closer? Where will they want to pause? What will reveal itself from another angle? We design the conditions for that experience while leaving room for personal discovery. Everyone brings their own associations and feelings — and leaves with a story of their own.

We develop the creative direction and guide its realisation, coordinating everyone involved and keeping the idea whole. Depending on the brief, we work directly with the client or alongside organisers and production partners.

Her interest in how people interact with their surroundings connects the studio’s different forms of work: exhibitions, installations, spatial projects and events. At the heart of this approach is curiosity about the world and a desire to create experiences from which a new thought can emerge.
