The New York subway at Saks Fifth Avenue
A decade of Saks Fifth Avenue in Almaty, told through the image of New York.
Saks Fifth Avenue is named after the iconic New York avenue, and New York is, above all, the subway: a place where in a single minute you encounter the most incredible things in fashion and every kind of person. So the store becomes the New York subway, and its stairs and escalators turn into a descent into the underground.
The concept is built on bold collisions: street culture beside luxury, hot dogs beside haute cuisine, breakdance and beatbox among the collections, while subway announcements set the rhythm of the whole evening.
